A NEW YEAR

After a long winter break the kindergartners are ready and eager to learn.  We started Guided Reading and Literacy Centers this past week and the students tell me that they really like literacy activities; in fact, some have said that it is their favorite part of kindergarten.  Those activities include the following:  Word Building, Read the Room, Name Corner, Colorful Cupcakes, Post Office, Writing Center, Creative Stickers, Super Scientist, and Categories.  They are building, reading, and writing words, writing sentences, making observations, and putting words in ABC order.  Your children are amazing!
