Thanksgiving Feast

All the kindergartners at Concord School reenacted the First Thanksgiving dressed as Pilgrims and Native Americans.  After a reading of the Legend of the Five Kernels of Corn and a recitation of a poem,  they feasted on many of the same healthy foods as the Pilgrims and Indians.

Thank you, parents, for your donations of food and your help at the feast.

As you can see in the pictures, we were dressed as Indians.  The students made their feathery headbands,  beaded necklaces, and colored Indian pictures for their fringed costumes.
