Comparing Apples and Pumpkins

After the students listened to a story about apples and pumpkins, we shared ideas about how they are alike and different.  We used two hoola-hoops as a Venn Diagram to show this.  It was a great visual lesson and engaged all the kindergartners as they eagerly participated.
