Congratulations, Class of 2013, your self-portraits and autobiographies show hard you have worked during your kindergarten year.  You are very talented artists and gifted writers.  I am so proud of you!

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!

Thank you, parents, for showering me with gifts this past week.  I truly felt appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week.

We have been busy this past week taking fourth quarter tests in language arts and math.  We should finish up this week. 

Your children continue to advance in reading and really enjoy their own time reading from their bag of books. 

Next week is a special week as we have our field trip to Grant's Farm and we will have our final get together with our Buddy Class.  The third graders are very excited about reading the poems they have composed in class.  I appreciate those of you who have volunteered to help out on our field trip.  I will be contacting you this week. 

WE LOVE GRANDPARENTS!

The kindergartners put on a spectacular performance and the grandparents loved it!  Their grandchildren loved giving them a tour of the classroom and reading to them.  The icing on the cake was getting to go home with their grandparents.  Thanks, grandparents, for coming out in the rain for the program.
